Robin Hiers Mixon, LCSW

Practicing via Telehealth and In-Person (Warner Robins, GA)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked in the counseling field for 15 years.  Over the past several years, I have worked with a diverse population offering services in outpatient and inpatient offices, military settings, and primary care clinics.  I enjoy working with all age groups who are challenged with behavioral, emotional, or relationship issues in addition to those who have chronic health conditions.  I take a holistic approach to counseling as there is evidence to demonstrate the connection between physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and environmental areas in one’s life.  While I am trained in various treatment modalities, I primarily use a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to help individuals challenge problematic thinking patterns and behaviors in order to promote progress toward desired goals, healthy lifestyles, and overall positive well-being.  Additionally, I am Level 3 trained in the Gottman Methods for couples counseling.  I am passionate about helping others meet their goals.
