Practicing via Telehealth and In-Person (Warner Robins, GA)
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked in the counseling field for 15 years. Over the past several years, I have worked with a diverse population offering services in outpatient and inpatient offices, military settings, and primary care clinics. I enjoy working with all age groups who are challenged with behavioral, emotional, or relationship issues in addition to those who have chronic health conditions. I take a holistic approach to counseling as there is evidence to demonstrate the connection between physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and environmental areas in one’s life. While I am trained in various treatment modalities, I primarily use a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to help individuals challenge problematic thinking patterns and behaviors in order to promote progress toward desired goals, healthy lifestyles, and overall positive well-being. Additionally, I am Level 3 trained in the Gottman Methods for couples counseling. I am passionate about helping others meet their goals and look forward to meeting you. Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me.

Practicing via Telehealth and In-Person (Warner Robins, GA)
Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me. I am Amber Mize a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I provide these services both in-person and via telehealth for those who qualify. I provide therapy for a variety of issues that you may be facing. The most prominent of these issues are depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. This does not mean I do not provide counseling for other issues or that those “other” issues are not as important. Here are a few examples of those “other” issues I have experience with: grief counseling, social skills education, substance abuse, parenting, and domestic violence education/counseling and therapy related to chronic medical issues. In my practice, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a way of looking at how our thoughts, behaviors, and actions are connected. When appropriate, I use other treatment modalities as well. I look forward to talking to you and getting to know you.
